Let my Steps Be Certain

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Ephesians 5:15‭-‬17

Let me walk as you want, Lord.
Let me not miss a step.
Let me walk with direction and your plan in each step.

Let my feet be driven as the deer…
For so does my heart long to be satiated from the fountain of your grace.

Let your word be a lamp to my feet. May it be a light in the darkness so, that I am able to walk with wisdom.

Lord, let me trust and believe that your purpose will be completed in my life as I walk in your way.
Let me not stumble and let me not fall.
Let me be careful to stay on the course. 
Let me not stray and let me constantly pray.
For with you all things are possible. 

Let me bring joy to your heart, as I play my role, my part.

Yours is the plan, to be a reflection and a vessel in your hand. This is my life’s goal. As you Lead me I will follow and go…
As you enlighten, let me so shine. Leading others to your love divine.
As your Spirit guides, let me speak or let my cry.
Let me pray and intercede.
Let me be a beacon and a witness, as you have your way in me.
Let others be led to your love. Use me I pray this now, Lord.

Keep me walking, walking, Lord.
Keep me standing.
Let my heart be ever submissive and pleasing to you.
For I was created to bring honor and glory to you.
