Watch Out! Let’s be Sure We Are In.

Watch Out!
Let’s Not Fall. Let’s Walk in Truth

Some people get angry when someone points out their mistake. They get so angry they are unable to listen and see that the person pointing out the mistake has a good intention.

I was walking with my shirt inside out. The lady said, hey I think you got to stop and check your shirt. I thought she was offending my sense of style. I was mistaken. She was trying to prevent me from making a fool of myself.

This is the same attitude some of us take when someone confronts us with some truth we do not want to hear.
We want to be left to our own choices and our own decisions. We tend to think we know best.
Mercy is shown when someone says, ” Hey, you are stepping in the wrong path. Hey, there is a pitfall ahead.”
The self conscious feel offended. The prideful or ignorant get mad. The one who feel guilt reject you altogether. They do not want you in their gatherings anymore. They disconnect with you altogether. They accuse you of being judgmental.

The child is by the window, too close for comfort. They are at risk. We don’t try to coax them softly, to get them away from the window. No, we abruptly pull them away from danger. It is for their own good.

We confront the truth. Whether it is uncomfortable or not. We must have enough love to tell someone they are at risk. But too often, we think to ourselves? Let’s not get involved. Let people live their lives. It’s not my problem.

One day we will have to give an Account to God for what we said and what we chose not to say. Their blood will be on our hands. If we, could have warned them and did not, we showed no love.

The Lord, loves us enough, and tells us, He speaks to us… to warn us that if, we continue in sin, we will be lost. His love draws us with truth.
Many reject the truth.

1 O foolish Galatians!…
Oh foolish people!

Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?
2 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?
Galatians 3:1-3

to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods. But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
Galatians 4:5‭-‬9

We walk so carelessly at times. We move in two waters.
Trying to fit in to the mold of the world and trying to walk with God.

We claim his promises and his Word as if, we own it. Yet we live like the world and expect to receive the blessing of God.
We walk after the desires of the world thinking God’s grace is going to be extended to us anyway.
We walk like sinners and choose not holiness. We partake of sin and then assume, God’s mercy is there for us regardless of how we mistreat the gift of God’s grace.

Without ever saying I am sorry Lord, we mistakenly believe all is good and somehow every person will make it to heaven.

We are sadly mistaken. Only the ones who believe and follow and trust and walk in truth have a place in heaven.
Only those, who have done what scripture tells us to do in
1 John 1:9-10 in obedience we will we be washed and cleansed of our sins.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
1 John 1:9‭-‬10

We cannot ignore grace and still assume we will be forgiven. We cannot ignore God’s love and expect to enter in to his everlasting life.

There is a path to Salvation. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Without a true and genuine commitment to living for him and accepting his love and forgiveness we cannot enter in. Without repentance and a turning away from our sinful lifestyles, we cannot come in to His rest.

We cannot be so foolish to think that there will be no consequence for ignoring God.
We cannot be so naive to think God is not going to judge every choice we make.

God’s love continues to draw us. As a gentleman he calls and asks and pleads for us to truely come to Him. But he has given us a choice to make.

We can choose life or we can opt for death.

There are two paths. One leads to heaven and the other to eternal damnation and separation from God.

Revelation speaks of the Lake of Fire. It is the place where those who have not truly commited their lives to God and have rejected him will go.

And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Revelation 20:10

It was a place originally designed as a place of eternal torment for the devil, that is Lucifer and the fallen angels (demons) who chose to rebel against God. But after man sinned the Lake of Fire is also the place where those who reject God’s Salvation and Grace through the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross and His Resurrection on the third day, will go to.

After the fall of mankind through the sin of Adam and Eve. Sin entered the DNA of every person born therafter.
The inheritance left to us from our forefathers was this sinful nature. It separated every person from God. Christ Jesus came to reconcile us to the Father. He paid the judgement for our sin. He gave his life for us not to have to remain separated from God. He made a way to redeem us to the Father.

To be saved and reconnected with our Creator we need to come to Christ Jesus. He is the long awaited Messiah promised to the Jews. He is the Seed of Abraham in which every nation and tongue will be blessed.
He is the Mediator, Intercesor, Advocate, Defendor and Restorer for all those who choose to follow him.
But those who reject him will not have access to his unmerited favor and mercy and God’s grace.

Only Jesus can reconcile us. Only his Blood shed on Calvary can wash away our sin.

The payment for our Redemption was great.
Jesus paid the price to set us free from bondage.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
John 3:16‭-‬21

When we surrender and humble ourselves and turn away from sin and accept the love and Salvation of God. The Bible tells us our names are found in the Lambs Book of Life. This means we are given the inheritance of becoming children of God. We are born again through faith in Jesus.

And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:15

Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
Mathew 25:41

And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.
Mathew 25:46

There is but two paths…
The right and straight and narrow path – Jesus

And the wide path which leads us to eternal punishment.

We don’t like to hear this. We would rather hear the gospel that tells us all are accepted and all sin is forgiven.
Everybody will make it in.

This is a false gospel. The True Gospel tells us Jesus loved us enough to die for us to be rescued from our wrong path.
The True gospel confronts us and gives us a Clear Truth.
Salvation is not for the faint of heart. The cowardly who would rather fit in to the crowd than stand out like a sore thumb in the midst of their peers, will not make it in.

Those who go with the current and flow of the wod will be lost.

Choose you this day whom you will serve.
Draw a line in the sand.

This requires true commitment. Faithfulness and a turning away from the sin of the past.
Choosing to walk in a holy way. Being true worshipers who do not follow in the trends of this life but mark the difference for God’s Glory.

These are the brave who unashamedly claim they are Christian.
They live without being unequally yoked.
They do not mix with sin and toy with it as if Salvation is some little thing.

These choose to be lights in this darkened world. They choose to be ambassadors of truth and those who carry one the message of the love of God to a dying world.

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Mathew 5:14

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Mathew 5:16

Have you really chosen Jesus? Do you really live for him?
Are you toying with your faith?
Today is the day of mercy. Come say you are sorry and ask to be forgiven and restored.
Do not wait.

Sin for a season can cause us to fall from grace.

Let’s not treat this gift light. Let us walk in Him.

Seek the Lord. Live for Him. Be not conformed to this world. But renew your understanding daily. (Romans 12:2)

Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
Hebrews 12:14

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

Let’s walk in Truth.
