When Worry Comes, When Fear Tries to Creep in Rest on Him

Fret not thyself because of evil doers.

We can see who has Delivered us. We can know He is Faithful. We can have peace in the midst of life’s struggles. The Battle is the Lord’s.

Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret—it only causes harm. For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord, They shall inherit the earth.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
II Corinthians 5:17‭-‬21

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
I John 1:9

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
I Peter 2:9‭-‬10

When we spend alot of time in scripture we are empowered. We are clothed in the Armour of God. We are prepared to meet every work of the enemy.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Ephesians 6:10‭-‬13

Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The Lord will be a light to me.
Micah 7:8

Let us focus on the work of the empty tomb. The Lord put his enemy under his feet.

You are more than a conqueror in Christ.
No weapon formed against you or me will prosper when we are hidden in the hollow of God’s hand.

The enemy is a raoring mancing lion. But we have the Lion of the time of Juda. The Lamb if God who rose from the grave.

Therefore encourage one another with these words. Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to be written to you. For you are fully aware that the Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “Peace and security,” destruction will come upon them suddenly, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
But you, brothers, are not in the darkness so that this day should overtake you like a thief.
For you are all sons of the light and sons of the day; we do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then we should not sleep as the others, but we should watch and we should be sober. For those sleeping, sleep by night; and those becoming drunk, get drunk by night. But we being of the day should be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and the helmet, the hope of salvation, For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
1 Thesalonians 4:18 – 1 Thesalonians 5: 1-9

We are more than conquerors.

We need not worry about all that will come.
Mathew 24 tells us all the things that will come. But we can rest assured that we are in Christ.

The enemy is no match. He must ask permission to God to touch any saint. When you have been blood bought, blood washed and Born Again. The Fear for the enemy can die. The anxiety for what the enemy can do will wither.
When we focus on The Lord’s Power and His Resurection, we understand that we have the Victory in Jesus.
Attacks will come. But the Lord is on our side.

The end of the good book says,
And the devil who had deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are; and they shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Revelation 20:10.

Be encouraged, The Victory, the Winner of our battles has already won. We wrestle in prayer, in belwiving in trusting. We fight on our knees and by becoming filled with God’s empowering Word. It is the Sword of the Spirit.

Rest in Jesus.

I love Happy Endings. Th3 best is yet to come.

Focus on these things.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
Philippians 4:8
