These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.
Proverbs 6:16-19 NKJV
Lord, let my thoughts and actions not offend you. Let my life have significance. Let it matter for the sake of your name.
Let me be known, not for my own name, but because of Christ.
An extremist is negatively viewed as someone who is not tempered and not able to interact in a wholesome way eith anyone.
The world calls those of us who follow Jesus, extremists. They have no idea.
The Love of God flows from those who love Jesus. It flows to reach others in love and grace.
He heals the brokenhearted ❤. He changes the negative course of life for those who recieve him. He mends the life of thise harmed by confusion and dissolution. Those lied to and made to believe they are something they were never meant to be. Your life matters. God loves you and me so much. Did you not hear the good news?
For God so loved the world that he sent his only Begotten son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
You see Jesus was intentional. He was one who went as far as necessary to reach the lost.
He left his throne in glory. He dressed himself in human flesh as he became a man, born of a virgin. A child growing within a people that were always rejected and oppressed and taken in to captivity. Jesus was born in Bethlehem. He lived in exile in Egypt as his earthly father ran to prevent Jesus from being killed by the decree Herod had given. (Mathew 2) Herod thinking that Jesus one day, would become an earthly political leader, demanded that all children under the age of 2 years old to be killed. Jesus came in to the world in a time of political strife. Turmoil and ethnic and cultural unrest.
Today we too are in the midst of a society breaking at the edges due to the unrest and strife among people. The world may have progressed in technology and thei ability to manipulate others and harm others. Today they call evil perverted ideologies, good. They call those who want to raise their families in traditional and wholesome ways, antiquated and closed minded. Today faith is considered old fashioned and a desperate attempt to cope with a hard life.
Truth be told Generation Z has not been told they have access to the greatest social reformer of all time. They have not heard that all the technology cannot satisfy the soul. During the pandemic this generation was kept hidden away and bombarded with false data. But in the soul of every human life their is a void. There is a puzzle piece that makes us complete. What is desperately lacking is a lasting hope.
Jesus is that hope. Jesus is that piece that will empower and gove a person the necessary drive to overcome the societal harms posed and pressed on to this generation.
Wake up young people. Do not allow the world to dictate yo you that you are confused and must make a new way. There is a perfect path for your life. It does not involve a self defining action. It is to find your true divine purpose.
Today the lies about technology have infiltrated many lives. AI cannot claim the power to restore lives.
Artificial intelligence is man’s attempt to live forever. Another fairy tale. Mankind is full of greed and wants to dominate others. We cannot fix our own selves. Truth be told. That doctor plays a part well. He can help others. But he cannot help himself. The surgeon cannot perform the operation of removing a damaged limb on himself. He has to rely on the hands and knowledge of another. We cannot make it all good on our own. We have tried for centuries and failed. Good leaders and bad ones. The world is still in turmoil. They tell us we will evolve. Lies.
You are not here by some random cells and some explosion that caused matter to connect. You are not here to re invent.
Come discover who you truly are. God has a purpose and definite plan that will give you hope and a future. He has a specific part you alone can play in this scene called life. The next scene is immortality or eternal death.
While in this scene we are in the second scene.
The first scene has already played out.
God Creator made the world. He caused a man and a woman to multiply and have offspring. They failed miserably at their purpose. They rejected truth and fell for the lies of rhe enemy.
Sin entered the world.
But the Creator had a plan since before the foundation of the world. He knew mankind would stumble. He knew how it all would play out. So the God of heaven sent his son Jesus Christ to take our place and die for our sin. All sin. Past sin and future sin.
He made a way for people to be reached and delivered from the bondage of sin.
This little Jewish baby changed the world.
Think for a moment. We still use the terms he caused to be changed.
We say of time and eras, BC and AD.
BC means the time Before Christ came. And the term AD refers to Anno Domini which stands for the Year of the Lord…
Interestingly, we have this is our historical texts.
History was i.pacted by this little baby born in a manger. All of our lives have meaning and a purpose. God did not choose you arbitrarily to read this today.
It was in his divine purpose for you to kniw, that this same baby in the manger was the very son of God.
He came to reconcile us to the Father. He came and grew and then died on a cross to take the punishment for the sin brought in to the world by the first Adam and Eve. Jesus is considered the second Adam.
And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.
I Corinthians 15:45-49
Jesus came to give us life eternal. He came to give you an opportunity to right the wrongs of the past by committing to Christ. Your life will never be the same. He will ignite in you hope and a life of significance. A life full of purpose and meaning.
We saw what happened in Asbury as a bunch if College kids began to pray. We saw the move of God. So, we want this to move across our land bringing hope and salvation to all who would receive Jesus.
You see he died for our sin to be nailed to that cross. He died so we could be born again. That is defined as the Lord intended. He rose again on the third day. He dis not remain in the tomb. The grave was empty. He rose up alive.
So no weapon formed against those who love him, will prosper.
He is not some political personality. He is God in the flesh making himself accessible to us.
Come, let you hope be in Christ. Consider how far we have strayed.
The LORD has mercy. His mercies are new every morning.
He desires to come close and be your Lord and your God.
Generations will praise Him. Lives will be influenced by his great love. He makes the weak strong. He makes the ones lacking hope to become those who have eternal hope.
Won’t you consider Jesus and allow him to show you who he has created you to be. You can know your true identity in Christ.
He will fill the void in that heart of yours.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
The Lord desires to make you complete. His plan and design is yours when you come to know him.
I may be extreme in my approach. But God’s desire is that not should be lost.
The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise as some understand slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
He will help it all make sense. Won’t you come?
Jesus is waiting.
