Your Life Song

Your song was meant for Him
Your hands are for worship
Your song is for his praise
Your strength is for honor
And your days are for Him…
You toil and find nothing,
No true revelation…
There is no satisfaction
Outside of His purpose.
You were from an infant…
Called un to His service…
The King has comanded…
Yet you have evaded…
Your soul is a wandering…
Your life in a stand still…
Your rest is not found yet…
For you’ve not surrendered.
Oh wasted years child, come a running…
Oh backslider, return…
Oh prodigal the Father awaits to
Hear from you that song.
Oh let play your fingers,
Let your voice sing it strong…
Oh you will only sing it…
When you come back home.
The Father awaits…
Open arms with a feast…
For He longs this reunion…
He will wash away sin.
You’ll receive that position,
That place of belonging…
The piece of the puzzle
your soul has been yearning.
There is no piece outside of the fold…
The Shepherd waits for your call…
He has your place secure and ready…
Oh child just come home.
The Lord still is calling.
There is still room at the door.
Come before the time is gone…
And that door is closed.
Oh come, hurry loved one,
Delay it no more.
The joyful reunion will be heard in your song.
Fulfillment and rest,
Elation and peace.
Excitement and assurance
of being at last free …
Free to play that melody
And free to sing the song of the Redeemed.
