He Has A Purpose With the Lives of His Children

Published by Deborah Negron – September 12, 2022

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us— that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full. This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
I John 1:1‭-‬10

Ain’t nothing hidden let’s keep it real. Every action and reaction, every word and deed.

Ain’t nothing hidden these are the facts. We’ve heard the truth, we can’t go back.

For from the beginning God designed a plan. A very plan for our lifespan.

Every step taken is in His plan. If we should deviate it won’t go well.

We then will stumble and turn aside. It will be sad and could be our demise.

Let’s get it right brother. Come to terms with it sister. Once we come to Christ we are no longer authors. He alone the Author of our days.

They say one makes one’s own destiny. This is a lie. There are two clear paths, one is wrong and one is right.

One the day we gave our hearts to Jesus the choice was made. We no longer are our own. We are his willing slaves.

This is not easy to swallow for those who want to deviate and go their own way. But for those who love Him this is our safety net. The place of our security and our peace.

Jesus has bought us with a price. He has determined each step of our lives.

From birth to growth, from each development and each new step. We are growing in His grace.

The more we seek Him we come to know, that each new day and every tomorrow is in His clear and perfect plan.

While we may err and at times make our mistakes, the good book tells us, All things will work together for our good, in the end because sufficient is His grace.

Grace to forgive, grace to restore. Grace to make His image in us be known.

His ultimate desire is that we would become the very Bride of Christ.

Surrendering is easier when, we understand His will is perfect. He’ll orchestrate every stage and scene of life to enable us to come to terms with His Sovereign will.

He is ready, willing and able to save and to mend our broken hearts, This is His will.

He is married to the backslider. He does not abandon. He does not divorce.

His purpose will eventually be made complete in us. We will be made whole.

He calls us from death to life. He envelopes us in his light. Nothing is hidden. No stone is unturned.

He knows the deepest hurt. He knows the highest potential and His love is the expression of His heart’s intention.

His plan is peace and hope and joy. His plan is trial and test and creating in us, the perfection of His son.

He knows we are frail and will not always thrive; thus He has given us His life.

A life assisted and empowered by the very Holy Spirit of God that raised Him from the dead.

His plan ensures we will succeed in the end. For every difficult moment will sharpen His resolve in us.

In every hard place we will see the evidence of true grace. His love unending and always forming in us the image of His Son.

You and I are chosen. We are called to higher places. No longer to be considered a commoner, we are Children of GOD.

Our identity, our sustenance, our greatest satisfaction is found in living the life He has predestined for us.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10

What if we falter? What if we fail? What if at times we go astray? What will the Lord do then?

His word is clear and does not change.

For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth, But those cursed by Him shall be cut off. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand. I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed. For the Lord loves justice, And does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, And his tongue talks of justice. The law of his God is in his heart; None of his steps shall slide. The wicked watches the righteous, And seeks to slay him. The Lord will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged. Wait on the Lord, And keep His way, And He shall exalt you to inherit the land; When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.
Psalms 37:22‭-‬26‭, ‬28‭, ‬30‭-‬34

He has chosen you. He has redeemed you. He does not throw away that which he has bought with a great price. His blood is sufficient to wash away every stain. Every error and every mistep, the Lord will cleanse.

He just asks that we submit to His mercy.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
I John 1:9

Yes, His Holy Spirit draws us to repentance. His Spirit guides us to His truth. His Spirit causes us to acknowledge our sin and then be restored.

For there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
Romans 8:1 -2

We did not choose Him. He chose us. He chose those He will save from the beginning.

Let us rejoice in this election. Let us think closely at such redemption. We may fall, but his strong arm is able to save. We may stray but He has called us relentlessly to His way.

He does not give up on the very ones he has designed for his namesake.

For though a righteous man may fall seven times, he still gets up; but the wicked stumble in bad times. Proverbs 24:16

When we fail and feel alone His response is clear. When we cry out to Him…

“Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.” Psalm 25:16

God sets the lonely in families,
he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land. Psalm 68:6

Even when our failures have taken us in to captivity. When our own actions have caused us to go so far. His mercy is for us when we come to Him.

May the groans of the prisoners come before you; with your strong arm preserve those condemned to die. Psalm 79:11

We are His clay and He is the Potter. He will complete the work in us and make us vessels that bring Him honor.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
II Corinthians 5:17‭-‬19

The Word of God tells us God’s clear intention for us.

To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
Isaiah 61:3

He forgives every transgression and is the Author and the Finisher of the faith.

He changes our weeping in to dancing. He blots our our sins. Jesus paid the price to not only cleanse us, but adopt us as His own. He shed His blood so we could be the righteousness of God.

He sees us in His love. The Father took the payment and transferred that payment for us. So our debt is paid in full. We can access His Mercy and Grace. We can now have a Relationship with the Father through the Son and by way of God’s Holy Spirit.

His plan for your life is secure. His steps for you amd me are determined. We can seek His Word and be guided in every decision and every action we are to take in this life. Where we go, what we choose, whom we associate with. Our connections and our direction can all be made in Christ. We can be more than conquerors in the midst of every life circumstance, when we know this truth.

He has a plan and purpose for us. We are not here by some chance.

This is great grace. This is love sublime, Yes, that He has loved your life and mine.

Jesus has chosen us before our birth and has designed our days until we die. But then He will continue with us in His Eternal design. We will sit with him in the heavenly places. We will rule and reign with Him.

Yes, we are His Sons and His daughters. Let us trust Him. He knows best. Let us seek therefore His face and His will. Let His will be done in us.

Let us walk with the assurance that our lives are secure in God. We are His own. The redeemed of the Lord.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
