We thank God for every difficulty and trial we must face.

Adversity is the place where the Lord forms his character in us. It is the place of repair as it were. It is the repair shop where the master does his best work in us.
Adversity is the place where we can choose to trust God. The place where we determine in whom we will place our confidence. The times of trials cause us to exercise this muscle we call faith.
We increase in hope and resolve our insecurities as we surrender to His purpose in the trial.
God never does things arbitrarily. He never allows things to happen to us without having a plan to use these moments to our ultimate good.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
We come to understand that the believer does not cower at rhe issues of life. Yes, we cry. We also may have moments where we may experience fear. But we do not live there. We come out from the rubble looking to the Hills from where our help comes from. Our help comes from the Creator and maker of all things. (Psalm 121:1-2)
We understand that we may face times of distress yet we know the Lord will not forget his mercy even in judgement.
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning
Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
So in this recipe called life we will have the bitter and the sweet. We will have the hot and cold, the sour and the rich but in all of it, we can rest assured, that the most precious morsel of life will come in due time and as we practice our faith and effort in trusting the Master to bring about the best in his completion of his masterpiece in us.
The recipe will be perfect in His capable hands.
Adveristy is simply a tool for our eternal benefit.
