We Need to Pray Today
Published by Deborah Negron 7-8-2022
We weep for those in confusion and anger and bitterness, for those who have stopped having hope and have resorted to violence. We pray against the forces of darkness. We pray in the name of Jesus that unity, love and fellowship would prevail. We pray that communities would gather and remember we are One Nation Under God. We ought to be indivisible and with Liberty.
Our children ought to be able to grow in a diverse nation where what ilunites us is greater than what divides us. We need to be filled with God’s mercy to be bale to forgive and love one another.
We need Jesus to be the center of our lives and the one that enables us to thrive as a people. We pray for the hand of God to enmxtend mercy over our land.
We repent of our sins. We come to God and ask for him to forgive us for our prejudices and our shortcomings.
We are all the same. We all need love, shelter, dignity, community and hope.
Jesus, heal our land. Push back the power of the enemy and cause this land to pray and to come back to you.
No more fighting, love covers a multitude of sins.
We are sorry for thinking one is greater than the other, when we have all been created as human beings. One God, One Race. People, not animals.
People who can learn from their mistakes and make better the future for our children.
If my people which are call by my name would humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways than I will hear from heaven and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
This, I pray, would be the cry of every one who calls themselves an American whether by birth or by acquired citizenship.
God have mercy I pray.
Let our halls of congress be filled with men and women who understand that you are Lord over all. Let our government turn the tide by surrendering to Christ.
Politics cannot save us.
Socialism cannot help us.
Racial division cannot protect us.
We need God in America today!
