What’s the News?

Hey, there are some good answers ya need to know….

Published by Deborah Negron- Child of God

We have all asked these questions at one time or another.

Why must the bad things come. Why must evil happen. Why does suffering come?
We all have asked ourselves these questions. Yet when we look at scripture it goves us a reason.
Since sin came in to the world, mankind was separated from God.
Doubt and mistrust occurred as a result of the fall. Adam and Even gave us this inheritance. It is called a sinful nature. No one ever has to teach a child to lie. He hides that cookie behind his back and assures you he did not eat it. The evidence all over his little face. Yet he lies. We balem others for our failures. We claim their mistreatment led to our negative behavior. This too is a product of what scripture tells us. Sin breeds sin. But God in his mercy prepared a way for us to be made right with him.

The Babe in the Manger, the death on the Cross amd the Emlty Tomb are the evidence of God’s love.
He knew we would fail yet he purposed a way to restore us.

Jesus going to suffer had been prophesied by the prophets. Isaiah wrote,
For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on his shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6
This was about the Babe in the Manger.

“You are my witnesses” — this is the Lord’s declaration — “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. No god was formed before me, and there will be none after me. I — I am the Lord. Besides me, there is no Savior. Also, from today on I am he alone, and none can rescue from my power. I act, and who can reverse it?” This is what the Lord says — who makes a way in the sea, and a path through raging water, who brings out the chariot and horse, the army and the mighty one together (they lie down, they do not rise again; they are extinguished, put out like a wick) — “Do not remember the past events; pay no attention to things of old. Look, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it? Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:10‭-‬11‭, ‬13‭, ‬16‭-‬19

For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Jesus made a way, where there was no way to redeem a fallen mankind. The sin of the first humans had tainted all their offspring. You and I are part of this offspring.

He then had to fulfill all the prophesies of the prophets.

Isaiah wrote,
Who has believed what we have heard? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? He grew up before him like a young plant and like a root out of dry ground. He didn’t have an impressive form or majesty that we should look at him, no appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering who knew what sickness was. He was like someone people turned away from; he was despised, and we didn’t value him. Yet he himself bore our sicknesses, and he carried our pains; but we in turn regarded him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced because of our rebellion, crushed because of our iniquities; punishment for our peace was on him, and we are healed by his wounds. We all went astray like sheep; we all have turned to our own way; and the Lord has punished him for the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth. Like a lamb led to the slaughter and like a sheep silent before her shearers, he did not open his mouth. He was taken away because of oppression and judgment, and who considered his fate? For he was cut off from the land of the living; he was struck because of my people’s rebellion. He was assigned a grave with the wicked, but he was with a rich man at his death, because he had done no violence and had not spoken deceitfully. Yet the Lord was pleased to crush him severely. When you make him a guilt offering, he will see his seed, he will prolong his days, and by his hand, the Lord’s pleasure will be accomplished. After his anguish, he will see light and be satisfied. By his knowledge, my righteous servant will justify many, and he will carry their iniquities.
Isaiah 53:1‭-‬11

Yeas, this is alot isn’t it. But if you read this far keep reading.

Jesus had to die. He had to become the payment for our freedom.
He was wounded for our sins. He was bruised for our wrongdoings. He was however gloriously empowered and Rose Again from the grave.

These are Awesome News!!!
It is but for the blind to see and the lame to walk. It is for the weak to be made strong and the weary to find rest. He is risen. Jesus had told them he would have to suffer. Going back to the Scriptures God told Moses Pharoah would not let the people go. He told Moses of the fact that Pharoah would harden his heart. You see sometimes troubles come because there must be a miracle manifested. Troubles come that we might see thepower of God. Sickness comes that we may see God as Jehovah Rapha – Our Healer. Hardship comes that we may see Jehovah Jireh – God as our Provider.

Jesus had to die that He could rise again to show that He has all power over sin and death. It is this power He gives to us. His power is able to clean us up of all sin. His power is able to restore us. The greatest miracle of all is Christ’s Salvation. He brings us from darkness in to light. He brings us from death to eternal life as (John 3:16)
Jesus saves, He was sent for this purpose. To die and rise again. This ensures our place in heaven. This goves us the guarantee of eternal life. The stamp of acceptance and redemption is the Blood of Jesus.
He had to undergo this suffering in order to make restitution.
God is a just God. When there was no other way, He provided himself as the Son of God.
In Genesis, the very beginning of our story, God knew Adam and Eve would fail. But even before Genesis the Triune Godhead. The God Almighty, The Father, The Son and The Holy Holy fashioned a plan to restore us back to a perfect unity with him.

Oh this is marvelous news. We do not have to try so hard. We were loved before time began. We were chosen from the foundation of rhe world. We were elected to hear the truth and to be those who heard and received and become the Chrildren of God.

For unto us the child was born…. He was given all authority.

Jesus had to die to give mankind life.
The Bible tells us, that we should have the same attitude as Jesus. We too ought to be humble and to show the Love of God for others. This is why Paul the Apostle writes to the Philippians this way,
“Adopt the same attitude as that of Christ Jesus, who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God as something to be exploited. Instead he emptied himself by assuming the form of a servant, taking on the likeness of humanity. And when he had come as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death — even to death on a cross. For this reason God highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow — in heaven and on earth and under the earth — and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
Philippians 2:5 -11.

God sent us his Son. Then His Son sent us His Holy Spirit so that we could live out this awesome miracle called newness of life.

So bad things happen. But The Best Has Benn Given to us.
Jesus is the one who restores all things.
He can be the answer to your questions, your struggles and your sufferings.

I oray you come to know Yeshua Mashiach – Jesus the Messiah
The Savior for us all.

Exodus 11, Luke 24.
