“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:8-9
You have plans for my life…. Your thoughts of me are for good and not for evil… Jeremiah 29:11
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. John 14:26
So, getting to do our Devotion and also my chair exercises in the kitchen…
When all of a sudden, we hear a conversation outside the window.
No big deal right?
WRONG!!!
WE LIVE on the 21ST Floor!!!
There are a total of 33 floors to this edifice. Pretty high up here. The last place I thought I would ever hear voices outside my window.
The chances of that happening are pretty small I thought.

This reminds me of the the scripture that speaks of the fact that God is with us always…
Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. If I say, “Surely the darkness shall fall on me,” Even the night shall be light about me; Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, But the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light are both alike to You.
Psalms 139:7-12
No matter what we may be experiencing this very moment, God is present. He is able to hear and listen and answer the call of our hearts. He knows where and how and why we are there. He understands our frailty and our weakness. He understands our fears and our thoughts a far off.
You know when I sit and when I rise; You understand my thoughts from afar. Psalms 139:2

Hey, He is in control. He sees you. He is able to sustain you.
He sees your triumphs and rejoices in your successes. He sees you in the midnight hour, when the pain or loneliness is filling your mind with anxiety. When the future looks bleak, He is still able to see us through.

Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.”
Isaiah 35:4
…teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Matthew 28:20
So, today, these voices outside my 21st floor skyscraper home remind me God is faithful!!!!
