The picture of the picture man.. the photographer.
It is interesting to me how everyone makes sure all those at the party have their picture taken. This man is called on and pulled in every direction.
Yet no one takes his picture.
I thought it was important to note…
His role was quite important. He is the one who keeps thw memories for all after the party is over. He makes sure those pictures get to whom they should.

I wonder if we look at our lives in the way the photographer does.
The way they position the angle of the frame. The way they capture each detail and moment that matters.

This reminds me of how the Lord looks at each and every one of us. He is interested in every single frame. Every detail of our lives he orders. Even what seems awful and painful, ugly and perhaps unpleasant even, He makes use of.
He does not discard the roll.
He uses each moment to bring us to the place where we can see the image of His son.

You see, when you look at the image of His Son, every frame of your life will be affected. Every moment will matter most. You see,
Scripture tells us…

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
John 3:16‭-‬17

His desire is to turn those dark images of your life, where you wish the camera would never reach, into something that is no longer painful. Every memory of distaste and sorrow, He wants to change in to a moment where you look back and say He loved me no matter what or where he took me from.
He loved me with an everlasting love.
(Jeremiah 31:3)

Not only does he want us to know he loves us but that He has predestined us for his glory.

And those whom He predestined, these also He called; and whom He called, these also He justified; and whom He justified, these also He glorified.

His purpose is to change the ugliness in our lives to a picture of God’s Amazing Grace.

He saved me from the life I was living. The poor choices I had made. He restored the Light to my frame. He says,

… “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7

He sees us through eyes of love. His desire is to transform our lives.

You have turned my sorrow into joyful dancing. No longer am I sad and wearing sackcloth. Psalm 30:11

He says to us, no matter what has gone wrong or where you are in life, I invite you….

“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.
Isaiah 1:18

He wants to gove us new life and a new vision of who we are in Him.

He wants to gove us beauty for ashes…

To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
Isaiah 61:3

He wants to change our past and give us this hope. The hope of living a life in peace with God.
A life in Christ…
Clothed in righteousness. Forgoven and set free from darkness.
He kniws how to gove us the image of His Son Jesus.

He can change our picture. He can change our outcomes. He can give us a whole new frame.

He can renew our understanding and make us right with God.
A frame where the light of Jesus makes our lives beautiful and gives us the path to Eternal Life.

He wants to take away our condemnation and give us Freedom.
Romans 8 says,

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Romans 8:1

My past image is gone. Today I live in a new frame a life of peace in the light of His love.

You too can have your frame change. You too can be brought in to His light.
Jesus is the Light. His is the Only way Truth and the Life.
In Him you too can have a new image.
