Love is patient, love is kind, it isn’t jealous, it doesn’t brag, it isn’t arrogant, it isn’t rude, it doesn’t seek its own advantage, it isn’t irritable, it doesn’t keep a record of complaints, it isn’t happy with injustice, but it is happy with the truth. Love puts up with all things, trusts in all things, hopes for all things, endures all things. Love never fails.
As for prophecies, they will be brought to an end. As for tongues, they will stop.
As for knowledge, it will be brought to an end.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.
I Corinthians 14:1-4
Did you know that when we speak God”s words we are in good company. The Scripture was written for our edification. The bible was written for our knowledge and for wisdom to be given to us.
Unfortunately, today some people think prophecy is supposed to be some unknown truth. The Bibke says that prophecies will end.
The truth is that everything that was prophesied has been given already. The Bible says that no one can add or take away from what is written. Therefore, when we speak of what is to come, prophesies of the end times, we speak of what the Bible alredy says.
The Word was made flesh. Scripture has already been given. The God of heaven intervened. We see this played out as a grand work, before our very eyes.
This is why it is so important for us to be familiar with it. It is essential for our growth spiritually and for our mental stability.
The Bible tells us that all scripture was given with these purposes in mind…
Look at what the Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy, (for us too)
“…and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
II Timothy 3:15-17
When we are learned in the Word of God, when we study it and read it and understand it, we have hope. We can walk in faith and not guessing what might happen in the future. We have the wherewithal to prosper in our faith walk. We can walk and wait on the Lord. We come to understand that our steps are ordered by the Lord (Psalm 37:24).
The Scriptures show us that they ar there…
… that all may learn and all may be encouraged.
I Corinthians 14:31
Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Ephesians 5:17-20
How can we understand what the will of the Lord is?
We can understand this by knowing what God’s Word says about his will.
Prophesy worth anything at all, must point us to The Lord. It must direct us upwards. It must remind us that the wages of sin is death. (Romans 6:23) The expectation of those who choose to ignore God is condemnation. But the gift of God is Eternal Life and the Hope of Heaven. (John 3) We can know this when we know God’s Word.
The Prophet Isaiah gave a prophecy regarding the Messiah to come. He spoke of Jesus.
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
Isaiah 9:6-7

Then in chapter 53, Isaiah spoke of the way in which Christ Jesus would go to the Cross.
Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.❤
Isaiah 53:1-5
The Apostle John in Chapter 3 of the New Testament wrote,
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
John 3:16-21
There you go. I just spoke of prophecy. I explained some truth. This is the prophecy that changes us. It gives us hope. It speaks of how we can be delivered and have eternal life. It also speaks of the condemnation that there is for those who fail to listen.
It is not rocket Science. The Love of God is something we can all have if, we accept Him. If we adhere to the commandment.
JESUS SAID, “Come un to me all that are heavy laden and I will give you rest.” (Mathew 11:28).
This prophecy has been revealed to us in scripture. This is why we need to know what the Good Book says. It is our Hope, the Manual that points us to Jesus.
When you come to know the Word of God you understand that the Propesies of old are being manifested today.
Many will come. Many will ignore. Many will receive God’s love and forgiveness. His Resurrection power can be yours today. You too can be born again.
The Bible says, “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:
John 1:12
This is the good news of the Christian faith.
This is the reason 2000 plus years later we still celebrate Christmas.
The Messiah that was prophesied of has come.
Because of Jesus we do not have to die in our sins. We can be Born again. We can receive his sacrifice as our atonement. His life was put in our place to suffer and purchase our Freedom. Liberty to live in a relationship with our Creator. A relationship of love which transfers his payment in to our account. We are then made partakers of the Treasure of heaven.
We may go through trials but we can be assured that all things will work together for our good.
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.
II Corinthians 4:7-10
This Book of Prophecy is not some mystical, magical tale or wishful story. God’s Word is our Gift. The Good Book is our Manual to Living Life To The Fullest.
This Christmas Season Come Know the God of The Prophesies of Old.
God’s Love Story for You is found in its pages. Come Know Him for yourself.
Come partake of it and be Blessed.
