He makes us Clean and Worthy to Worship

Published by Sister Deborah Negron – Child of God – Servant of God

But the words that come out of your mouth come from your heart. And they are what make you unfit to worship God. Out of your heart come evil thoughts, murder, unfaithfulness in marriage, vulgar deeds, stealing, telling lies, and insulting others. These are what make you unclean. Eating without washing your hands will not make you unfit to worship God.
Matthew 15:18‭-‬20

Exodus 28:31-39
Under his vest Aaron must wear a robe of blue wool with an opening in the center for his head. Be sure to bind the material around the collar to keep it from wearing out. Along the hem of the robe weave pomegranates of blue, purple, and red wool with a gold bell between each of them. If Aaron wears these clothes when he enters the holy place as my high priest, the sound of the bells will be heard, and his life will not be in danger. On a narrow strip of pure gold engrave the words: “Dedicated to the Lord .” Fasten it to the front of Aaron’s turban with a blue cord, so he can wear it on his forehead. This will show that he will take on himself the guilt for any sins the people of Israel commit in offering their gifts to me, and I will forgive them. Make Aaron’s robe and turban of fine linen and decorate his sash with fancy needlework.

Standing in the place where once the Holy of Holies was a high honor, a privilege. Being allowed to stand where the priests of old stood to bring forth the sacrifices to God was no small thing.

Back in the day of the priests of Israel the priest had to wash seven times before taking this position. If the priest was found with sin in his heart there was a clear understanding of the this. The bells he had aound him seen in to the hom of his garment would no longer be heard. The movements of the bells as the priest was preparing the sacrifice were silenced. Then the other priests would understand that the priest had died behind the veil. They then had to pull the rope attached around the ankle of the priest and pull him out from behind the veil in the of the Holy of Holies. They would tug it and if no movement and no bells ringung would be heard, the people would know he had been unfit to stand before God. He would be found dead. He would have to be pulled out and buried.

Imagine such a holy place. A place where a person could come to God and show repntance and be given mercy or be cursed. For only God would be able to decide the fate of the priest that stood before him in this place. A place where every sin was exposed and seen by God. He was the one who could accept the atonement for the sins of his people. That priest had to be willing to risk his life. He hd to be living right, thinking right and loving in a holy manner to be able to go into this most Holy place.

Today, because of the Sacrifice of Jesus and his sinless life, because of his deah on the crossn atonement was made, our sin debt, paid once and for all, for the Redemption of our souls and for our forgiveness, He has become that High Priest. He is the one who is able to allow us to come close. Because of Jesus that veil

has been torn, the veil, that division, between us and God is no obstacle. .
Because of Jesus we have been given access to the Mercy Seat of God. We have been given the privilege to stand before him. Yet we have been washed clean by the Blood of Jesus. Without this cleansing we would not be allowed in. Since God is holy and no one can enter in to his presence in a sinful state.

Jesus has given us access.
His Resurrection means there no longer needs to be a human mediator between God and man. Jesus is our go between. He is our Eternal Mediator. He has become our Advocate. He sits at the right hand of the Father interceding for you and me. Jesus became the Spotless Lamb of God. There is no longer another need for a sacrifice. He poured his blood in our stead. He took the place of judgment we deserved. He surrendered his own freedom for our liberty. He died paying the price for our Redemption.
Yet we know He Rose Again. He is alive. His power is ours. His forgiveness is ours. His access is now our access to the Father.

No longer is there need to stand before a man and have him take a sacrifice on our behalf. Jesus stood in that place. He made a way by which we can have a free pass to go in to the most Holy place and ask what is according to his will. We no longer have to wait until the priest cleans himself. Now the blood of Jesus covers and cleanses us from our sin.

What a great joy! We can enter in without fear. He has loved us. We can come in, we have been accepted. We can com and sit at the feet of Jesus and he gives us mercy. His grace is a gift we did no earn. It is for the whosoever. Whomever wants to receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour can be free to come to him.

Today, Jesus is that high priest we can come to. H is the sacrifice for us. He is the Mercy Seat. He is the one that sits on the throne at the right hand of the Father interceding for you and me.

Won’t you come and be made clean? Won’t you surrender your hurts, your troubles and your life to him. Surrender your dreams an expectations and your Hope’s and failures. His desire is that you would be set free an know his peace. His forgiveness is for you and me. His joy is for you as well.
Oh come to Jesus. He will be the Mediator between you and God. He will become your refuge and your place of safety. The storms of life may come but you can be safe under the shadow of his wings.

Won’t you come?

But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from everything we’ve done wrong.
1 John 1:9

The faults of your past cannot hold you back.will hold you back any more. The hindrances of your life will not be an obstacle any longer. Jesus wants to be your hope. He desires to be the Messiah for you. The one who will make all things new.

What amazing grace, what amazin love. You can come in Repentance and ask for forgiveness and be made right with God.

Oh I pray you understand how precious you are to God.

God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him won’t perish but will have eternal life. God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through him.
John 3:16‭-‬17

I pray these words encourage you to come and know the Love that never fails.

Jesus Loves us. Yes this means you too.
