Communication is essential when one is trying to convey one’s needs, feelings or ideas. Our varied points of view take life when we can convey them with clarity.

Others can understand, assist or clearly see the implications of the knowledge, idea, thought or need that is being expressed when there is communication.
I have the privilege of serving as a Freelance Spanish Interpreter. In this position I must be aware of every detail and word said. I must be aware of body language, tone, voice inflection, mood etc. I must be able to convey the message that needs to get across with the same urgency concern or relaxed manner as the person who is communicating in their native tongue. I must also communicate what the Medical personnel, Legal representatives or Social Service providers are stating so it can be clearly understood by the recipient.
As an Interpreter I take pride in the process and in the ability to hear, listen attentively and interpret from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English.
Laws established in the United States provide people with the right to have every legal or medical information provided to them in their own language in order for people to be able to make well informed decisons about the health, another legal matters.
Bankers utilize interpretation to ensure that their clients are served and are able to provide Mortgages, loans, account services and such for those they do business with.
Courts, Hospitals, Law Offices, Businesses such as Banking institutions and Departments of social services and of Education as well, as other governmental offices, must provide interpretation services for those served.
I am able to serve in this capacity as a Spanish Interprerer both on site and over telephonic Interpretation. It is an honor for me to serve. In this role I am an Essential Worker.
Today however, I am more concerned with an even more important role than the role I have as an Interpreter of a language. Today, I am thinking about my role as a Conveyor, Interpreter and Ambassador of the Gospel.
It is my highest honor and privilege to be able to expound and communicate with clarity the Word of God. My most important role in this Life is to point others in the right direction to the Only one who can Bring Out the Best Outcomes.
As an Interpreter I communicate a variety of messages. Some of the messages are positive and cause happiness or relief. Other messages conveyed cause sadness, tears and fear.
Sad news at times, about a person’s negative outcomes, leaves me with a heavy heart and a sense of helplessness.
For in the role of a language Interpreter I can only stand and just repeat a message as it is given. It is not my responsability to deal with the aftermath. I can only serve as the voice of the speaker and nothing more. Whether to tell them they have some frightening diagnosis or to give them the news they had hoped for, perhaps telling them they will be having a child.
My role is to communicate the information so it is understood clearly.
If I fail to interpret correctly, I may harm the persons served. If I exaggerate or minimize the words in the message, I can hinder the effect the original message must have from being delivered accurately.
I can be called to a court to testify according to what I heard or learned as a result on an interpretation. My name is to be signed in every order in order to give proof of my presence and the service I provided teach time.
I am held responsible for conveying the accurate message as it is given.
Today, I am considering my position as an Interpreter of Grace. What is the message I convey?
As believers, our lives are to be an open book. What I say and do is being recorded.
The God I serve, will require a response for my every word and deed.
In light of this, I am cognizant of my responsability to honor the Lord by how I live out my life and my faith.
What are people seeing in me? Am I a person Godly character? Do I preach one thing and live another? What message of Christ’s Love and Grace am I portraying to those around me?
Are my actions pure and honest? Do I reflect the image of God? Today I consider myself as one who is not always able to interpret or manifest the love of God cleay enough. I am flawed. I make mistakes and some of those mistakes may have hurt others.
As a believer we are on a journey where we must grow in grace. We must grow in the knowledge of God’s word. As we grow, we will become better conveyors of the message of the gospel.
There are tools an Interpreter uses to improve the quality and ability of becoming a better Interpreter. Dictionaries, medical lists, banking terminology and various memory enhancers are utilized o cause the Interpreter to become proficient in the field.
As Believers we also have tools and knowledge we must increase on daily in order to grow in the capacity of interpreters and conveyrs of the gospel. The necessity for becoming familiar with the Word of God, studying it and learning of the scriptures are essential practices. Communicating with God in prayer on a daily basis, is what causes us to be better messengers of Hs Gospel.
Gospel means good news. The good news of God’s love is a message that can change the outcomes of people for eternity.
The gospel of Jesus Christ causes the broken to be mended. The lost to be found. It changes outlooks and gives hope. The truths found in conveying The Lord’s Message can Bring Life to the Dead. It is wat can change the destiny of a person. It causes the blind to see. It brings people out of darkness and in to the light.
Today I examine my capacity to be an ambassador of Jesus. Is my delivery of God’s message clearly understood? Am I prepared with enough base knowledge to be able to Express His message with eloquence and according to the needs of those that hear it?
When interpreting I cannot change the message given. I cannot alter the content for my comfort. I cannot soften to harsh truths to make the listener comfortable. At times the message brings tears to my own eyes. The cancer diagnosis, the loss of a pregnancy, the sad news is given even if it impacts my own personal feelings or emotions negatively.
Today we hear many conflicting messages about grace. We hear messages about God’s Love. Yet these messages are full of misconceptions. Personal opinions and hopeful concepts. They are not conveying the true message of Grace.
It is my hope, to convey a clear message of Salvation. There is no flea market for getting Salvation at a better price. Salvation cannot be had without cost or at a bargain.
Grace has a Price. It cost God his own Son to Redeem humanity. There was a huge expense to made on your behalf and mine. If was not cheap.
The Bible is a book that offers much clarity on the subjects of Salvation, Grace and God’s mercy. It offers the facts of mankind’s fall and how all of us hav inherited sin. It is in our DNA. It keeps us from having a relationship with God. Scriptures denotes the fall of man. But more importantly it clearly establishes the way to Return.
The Bible clearly stiplates conditions for the obtaining of Liberty and Forgiveness of sins. It lays out the path for us to follow and to be able to enjoy the inheritance God has given each and every person who accepts the terms of Reconciliation with God.
This Reconciliation with God can only happen when the Agreements given in God’s word are adhered to.
There is a contractual relationship that must be made in order to receive this inheritance of Grace.
The Terms of the Agreement are clearly given in detail in the scriptures.
John 3:16-21 says,
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”
These verses are clear. In order to obtain Salvation we must come to Jesus and believe he is the Son of God sent to rescue humanity from the consequence of sin.
I. The First Stipulation of this agreement is that we Must Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
Through our own behaviors and attempts to do good, be generous, serve others and show respect to the laws and live as good citizens we cannot obtain Salvtion. We cannot obtain the title of Child of God unless we admit our faults and acknowledge our guilt.
II. The Second stipulation is that we must Repent and acknowledge our sins. We must turn away from the life that leads us away from his truth. We must turn away from he sin that has entangled and brought us to a place of disconnection with God.
The Bible says,
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9
When we accept Jesus Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour we are given access to Grace. The account of Grace is Credited to Us as we come into fellowship with God we are then considered free from sin.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
2 Corinthians 5:17-18, 20-21
The message I hope to convey here, is that, there is Hope. There is a Path to Safety and to Forgiveness. There is a path to Salvation.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
III. The Third stipulation accepting God’s son as Lord and Savior and accepting God’s forgiveness. He washes you sin and mine away. We become Born Again and become part of the family if God as a result of accepting God’s forgiveness.
The Bible tells us,
“I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. Isaiah 43:25
IV. Finally the fourth stipulation of this agreement is walking in Christ Jesus. That is, making a deliberate and purposed decision to walk ancommunicae with the Lord daily. Building on a relationship with God by spending time reading and studying his Word. Becoming part of a Bible Believing Chuch and having fellowship with others who have also taken part of this Agreement.
My hope is to convey the truth that God loves you. He loves us so much he made a way by which we can be saved.
We can obtain Mercy and grace when we consider all God has done for us.
Jesus, that little Jewish boy in a Manger, grew up and did many miracles of healing, and restoring lives. He is th same Jesus that died on a Roman Cross to mak Atonement, that is, to pay he Price with His own Blood. His Blood was received as payment in full in order to give you and me the Freedom of Salvation. This same man who died on the cross, rose again on the third day. He is alive and because of him we can obtain mercy. Grace can be yours by way of the Cross an the Empty tomb. Jesus is alive. He paid the price for your Liberty and mine.
.
Today, it doesn’t matter how well we perform our jobs as Interpreters, as husbands or wives, moms or dads or as individuals in any capacity. It does not matter how much wealth we can attain. The utmost importance in life is to know that you are in right standing with God.
Your role and mine matters little if we are not in a right relationship with God.
The Stipulations for Salvation are clear.
Believe in The Lord Jesus and you shall be saved. Acts 16:31
- Believe
- Repent and Confess your sins.
- Accept Forgiveness
- Live and communicate with Jesus daily growing in faith.
My desire is that I am able to communicate clearly that God loves you. No matter how far you have strayed or how far in sin you have gone, Jesus is able to save. He is able to restore and if you come to him an adhere to this wonderful Agreement to surre.der to his love th ou will be so blessed.
I Assure you your Outcomes will be Worth the Agreement. He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him.
Jeremiah 29:11 says, He has plans for your life, to give you a hope and a future.
Eternity is promised as you come into becoming a child of God.
As you ask Jesus to come in to your life and forgive your sin. As you turn away from the life of win or of self indulgence an look to him. He desires to save you.
As a Conveyor of this Gospel I can tell you. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23).
We cannot obtain God’s mercy by our good actions. Our own merit holds no weight here. But we can look to Jesus. He gave himself to pay the price for your sin debt and mine. I pray the message is clear.
Come to Jesus he will not turn you away. If you come humbly and surrender He will restore your life.
I pray the Message that is life changing and has eternal outcomes, is understood well here.
May the Lord bless you.
