Do You need some fixing up?
Published by Deborah Negron M.A.
Hey doc…
Can you fix me?
I’m a good person.
I try to be a good neighbor.
I do nice things for others.
I am a person that follows the law most times.
But deep inside, there is something missing.
Deep inside I feel like I need something else.
Doc, it’s like I need to find something to feel complete. I got a good life, family. I have ups and downs, all normal I guess…
But doc, I just have a sense that I missed something along this life journey.

Will the advice comes..
Have you experienced depression? Have you felt like you have been let down? Have you felt like you just can’t get things right?
Perhaps you’re having a low moment.
The next question…
Have you been eating properly and getting enough sleep? Do you have enough leisure time or time for yourself?
To be honest all of us have felt down at times in life. But there is a deep void that can only be filled by in an intimate relationship with God our Creator. There is a need in the soul of man kind That can only be fulfilled by the presence of God in our lives.
We find wealthy men and individuals will have attained great positions. Yet they feel lost.
They also try to fill their void with material things. They may own extravagant things. They may have beautiful things that for a while seem to fill a space. Yet soon after, The deep need within the soul resurfaces And again they feel as if something again is missing.
We were created to worship God. We were made in such a way that when we are in communion with God we feel peace. We can experience deep joy and a sense of well being in the presence of God.
The Bible clearly tells us that Jesus said, That he was the way the truth and the life. He is the truth that every heart needs to know. He is the path of the way that we all must walk on in order to find the missing puzzle piece of our lives. He is the author of our lives and thereby,
In Christ Jesus we can be made whole.
Surrendering our lives to Christ affords us with the opportunity to understand our true purpose and meaning for our lives.
Doc cannot fix us. Only Jesus can.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
2 Corinthians 5:17
