The Whole Gospel –
The Love, The Judgment
The Righteous, The Wicked
All will have to stand before God
The whole gospel is all of it. It is not just mercy and grace. It is truth and a clarification of what sin is.
All the word of God is, all the word of God. Some pick and choose according to their desires and their inclinations. Some choose some of the commandments and exclude the ones that make them feel uncomfortable.
There are specific sins that keep us away from receiving forgiveness. Pride, having our own way. Ignoring God’s word.
The Bible tells us that in the last days people would choose what theiy want to hear and not listen to what is right.
There is a fruit of the Spirit that must be grown and cultivated in us. The other side of this coin is that there is the evidence of a life not lived for the Lord.
Galatians 5:17-26 tells us,
“For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
Galatians 5:17-26 ESV
Many walk in darkness and as by choice. They seem to think the word of God is just some fable or made up story. They prefer to hear make me feel good messages. Self actualization speeches that motivate self pride and feelings of being greater than what they are. They do not want to look in the mirror of God’s word that speaks clearly of their wrong doings, their sins.
2 Timothy 4:3-4
For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.
We are living those days here and now. The Bible says,
“While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness. So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, are drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation. For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him. Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves. And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all. See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. Rejoice always, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not despise prophecies, but test everything; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.” 1 Thessalonians 5:3-11, 13-16, 18, 20-24
James 4:1-17
What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you? You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions. You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you suppose it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, “He yearns jealously over the spirit that he has made to dwell in us”? But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you. Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor? Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.
God’s word is so clear. When we read in the pages there we find the way in which we are to live. We are to love one another, be ready to forgive one another, walk in newness of life. We cannot live holding on to our idea of pride that chokes up the work of the Holy Spirit.
We are to forgive one another. In order to be forgiven, we must forgive. In order to receive mercy we must be merciful.
We will reap what we have sown.
For those who think somehow they are in charge and they use their money to bring harm to others there is coming a day where they will reap what they have planted. All their sins against humanity will be put on display and the Lord himself will judge and condemn them.
For those who believe somehow that one life holds more value than another, they have obviously not understood that God, the Lord Jesus is the Creator of life, the sustainer of all. One day they will have to gove an account to God for all the evil they have perpetrated over humankind.
They have forgotten they too will become old, They have forgotten that every evil they have commited will be done to them and more.
We are all creatures that will be judged by our Creator.
Abortion, promoting the delusion of identity Confusion, Racism, Separsting the classes, thinking more highly of one than the other, seeing lives as possessions and those who have used science to further their agendas and have used people as their instruments for science and discovery by harming them with evil experimentation and such….
These all will stand one day before the judgement seat of Christ.
The wealthy who used their platforms for trafficking human Guinea pigs for their monetary gains, will one day want to run in fear from a God who will bring wrath over them.
These who seem powerful today will be as pawns thrown in to their eternal judgment. Their pain will be forever and their sorrow will not end.
Oh, God desires to save them too. He is ongs to have them repent of their evil ways and turn away from their evil plots to harm others. He would rather open their eyes and give them the opportunity to ask for forgiveness.
But if they do not turn away from greed and pride and continue in their evil ways they will face eternal damnation.
Church, prepare to be taken. Prepare for the coming of the Lord. He will call us home. We may have to endure tribulation. We may have to suffer for our faith in Christ.
Mathew 24, read it again. Understand that the days are short.
We will be going home. And if we suffer death at the hands of these evil people, be secure in this, your reward is eternal. Death has no sting for the believer. Absent from the body means we will be present with the Lord.
He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6
So go ahead, Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness (Mathew 6:33) and we will have abundant peace, hope, understanding, wisdom, courage, grace, mercy and forgiveness in the midst of what we will have to endure.
So even if they harm this flesh, this physical body, they cannot damage the soul.
The Lord is with all those who repent. Those who keep his commandments to love God with all their heart, soul and strength and to love their fellowman as themselves will reap a great reward.
Those who reject Jesus and continue in their prideful sins will be no more.
Psalm 37 tells us of the end of the ungodly,
Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers! For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb. Trust in the Lord , and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord , and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord ; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil. For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the land. In just a little while, the wicked will be no more; though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there. But the meek shall inherit the land and delight themselves in abundant peace. The wicked plots against the righteous and gnashes his teeth at him, but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he sees that his day is coming. The wicked draw the sword and bend their bows to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose way is upright; their sword shall enter their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. Better is the little that the righteous has than the abundance of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous. The Lord knows the days of the blameless, and their heritage will remain forever; they are not put to shame in evil times; in the days of famine they have abundance. But the wicked will perish; the enemies of the Lord are like the glory of the pastures; they vanish—like smoke they vanish away. Psalm 37:1-20
For those that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength they shall mount up with wings like eagles…. Isaiah 40:31
Oh,you, who sleep, awaken and be wise, take up the oil for your lamps and be ready, the Bridegroom is coming. Church you are the Lord’s Bride. Make yourself ready. Cleanse yourselves and prepare. Be found in grace and being merciful one to another. Forgive quickly, mend relationships, do not be separated from the truth because of some disagreement. Be reconciled one to another.
Be found ready for our Redeemer is soon. to come.
The signs of the times are here before us. Sin has grown to such a magnitude that judgment is inevitable.
Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
Luke 21:28 ESV
“But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap. For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
Luke 21:34-36 ESV
Let us watch and pray.
Lord, help us to be ready. Forgive our lack of faith, increase our faith. Cause us to love and pray for the lost. There is still mercy and forgiveness for those who recieve Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Help us to be mindful of the fact that we are not home. We are pilgrims here. We are the children of God, the chosen, to preach salvation to those who would perish.
For you Lord came to seek and save what was lost. Your desire is that none should perish.
John 3:16 ” For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son (Jesus) that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life.
