Jeremiah 31:3.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord , plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him will not be lost but have everlasting life. John 3:16
Before you were even aware of of his love He loved you.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
Deuteronomy 10:15
Yet the LORD set his heart in love on your fathers and chose their offspring after them, you above all peoples, as you are this day. Deuteronomy 10:15
You are loved by God.
Isaiah 43:4
Because you are precious in my eyes,
and honored, and I love you,
I give men in return for you,
peoples in exchange for your life.
Jesus loves you so much he gave his life for you.
When I think on this it is more than enough to bring one’s self esteem up.
You are beloved of God. From the moment he purposed he would create you you were loved. What an amazing truth. Before the foundations of the earth were made, God himself knew you and I would fail. He knew mankind would be flawed by sin yet He made mankind anyway. He purposed in himself to be the one to Redeem us. He made himself the very one who would give himself for our freedom.
Oh what wonderful knowledge. It is the reason why I praise the Lord. It is why I am in awe of his great love and mercy for us.
When you feel overwhelmed and unloved, despised or pushed aside, read these lines. Rehearse the words the Bible tells you of God’s great love for you. It will change you perspective and renew a sense of worth. Christ died because you meant so much to him.
He surrendered his life to grant you and me eternal life. Our sins he covered with his own blood.
Oh, stop and consider his great and marvelous grace. He has loved us with a love that is everlasting.
For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
Psalm 139:13-14
