Shining in adversity…
Being the light in a darkened world…
Responding with truth in the midst of man’s confusing positivity messages.

People of our time want a make me feel good gospel. They are unable to manage the truth, that without Christ and a total surrender to him, they will be lost.
They want a gospel that says they can have a little of this and a little of that. They want a gospel of tolerance, of calling good things old fashioned and narrowminded, evil, and things that are immoral, wrong and against God, they want to call free choice.

2 Timothy 4
1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Only the truth can set humanity free. Another gospel is not the answer.
It cannot be watered down. It cannot be given within the context of other supposed truths.

We don’t have religion, we have faith. We don’t have a truth, we have Jesus and he said of himself, in John 14,
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus is the answer to every one of life’s questions. He is the one who desires to make men free.
Ans when we come to him genuinely seeking him, He delivers.
He alone can save us. He is the one who took up on himself the sin of all mankind. He is the go between. He is our Highpriest. He is our redeemer. His was the highest price ever paid for us.

His desire is to liberate us from all the things that bind us. He whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

My prayer is that every person would come to know freedom in Christ Jesus.
No, the truth may not seem pleasant, we are bound by a sinful nature that has separated us from God.
But through faith in the sacrifice and the gift of Salvation and grace, His mercy has been afforded to all.

Our response:

1 Confess our sin
2 Repent and sin no more
3 Grow in faith
4 WALK in his light living our newness of life in Jesus Christ.

We are not partakers of the grace unless we forsake all others.
We cannot be on the middle wall. We must choose.
