He Is Still In Charge

Genesis 1:1-3, 5
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Lord, you have always been in charge.
From the onset of what we call chronological time, you have been in charge.
Before time as we know it, you have been in charge.

No one has been before you and no one can take control of the universe because you are Lord of all. It is not a concept, nor is it some human tale. You always have been present and you always will.

When heaven and earth pass away you will still be in charge. Nothing happens that surprises you. For this reason, I will rest.
For this knowledge I will calm my mind knowing that you sustain my life.
This is the susbstance of things hoped for…
The evidence of what I have not yet seen. My faith is in you. My hope is in you.
The breath I breath is yours. You have given it and if you choose to tske it back, it is yours.

Who am I that you are mindful of me?
Where can I go away from your reach?
Thay is an impossibility.
You are Ever with me.

Lord God remind me of your loving kindness. Help me to recall your faithfulness.
You have not changed.
Though the circumstances may change, the world may seem to be strange and not the one I recognize. You are forever true. Your peace is still mine in the midst of the storms.
Though my strength my fail. Your strength will be made perfect in the midst of my frailty.
I can rely on the one who is able to keep me in the hollow of his hand.
I am but small and frail yet you will not suffer me to lose my soul.
I have placed my hope in you.

Your word is where I find my solace.
My security I find in the pages of your book. It tells me your are my Shepherd , so nothing will I have need of.
It says you are my fortress in whom I can depend on.
It says that you will even hold my tears in your bottle. Yet it also says one day you will dry every tear away. Your word tells me that through the generations you are still the deliverer of your children. It says that you have chosen the weak to confound the wise.
You have chosen to make yourself known in us your earthen vessels.
I see in your book how faithful you have been. You have provided for your people. You have protected them in times past.
You have shown mercy but you have also corrected their crooked paths.
Your word enlightens the darkest soul.
It brings clarity to the one who is confused.
It tells the story of your unwavering love.
It demonstates in each page and line your unending desire to reach humanity with grace.
Since the onset where mankind sinned. You had already known you would come as a Saviour. You knew humanity would fail time and time gain. Yet your love for the work of your hands allowed your grace to shine.
Choosing for yourself a people from a people who had not chosen you, you called Abraham from the land of the Chaldeans.
Then you gave him Isaac and then came Jacob. You unfolded the story of grace so all kindred and every tongue would one day speak your name.
With Moses and David, through mercy you brought your people through a long journey to have them turn back to you.
You then sent your Son Jesus, Yeshua, the Messiah.

Lord, you have always been in Charge.
On the Cross you defeated sin and conquered even death. You rose again on the third day.
You showed not only power but love, not only strength but grace. You did not gove us what we all deserved. You instead took pity on your creation. You offered us Salvation.

You are now still in charge. You are in control.
While the world seems to be in mayhem this does not ruffle your feathers nor trouble your peace.
For under the shadow of your wings we are kept safe. You are still Large and in Charge.
You are still Lord of the Heavens and Lord of the Earth.
The enemy may seem to bring darkness and fear. Yet your remain unchanging.
You are still on the Throne.
The evidence of your greatness is all around us. We can see how nature itself displays the works of your hands.
Each face and each creature are clearly seen.
Each person each, each flower, each tree and each river. The ocean the sand and the mountains we see evidence the mighty hand that is in charge of all.

Today, be still my heart.
Your sins are covered under the blood shed on the cross. Not even death can take away the purpose God has for me. For the flesh can die but the soul will live eternally.
The hope is not hindered with all the things my eyes can see. The day of trouble cannot change who you are Lord.
You are God Almighty, the Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace, The Rose of Sharon, The Deliverer and Sustainer of All.
Your Name is Above All Names. It is Above all Dominiond and Powers, all governments and all kingdoms must bow before you.
One day Every knee will bow and Every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

So for now, I will rest in The Assurance that You are with me. So yeah though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil. For Greater is He that is in Me, than he hat is in the world.
My God you are Stiill in Charge.
