I love gardening. To touch that brown earth and dig, to prepare the soil for it to bring forth fruit.
I love to see the spouts after I have toiled and planted the seeds. I love to watch the plants slowly grow and bloom.
Lord, today I want you, the one who causes seeds to grow and to bloom…
You who gives the increase…
Yss, Lord, I want you to cultivate and cause
the seed of your word, the loving care of your Holy Spirit with the nurturing of your presence
To have these fruits bloom in me.
May these bloom in the garden of my life. May they bloom in the lives of my family and in the life of your church.
May the world see Christ and his love in your peolle.
May they bring others to see your beauty in us. This is my prayer.
Amen.
