The Pendulum Ticks

Tick Tock, Tick Tock…
Time moves on little by little.
I cannot go back and undo what was done.

Tick Tick, Tick Tock…
The days are fleeting…
What have I done.
Lord, am I moving and working in stride…
Or will I be found wonting and die?

Tick Tock, Tick Tock…
Is my life journey one, that will count?
Am I impressing and influencing others to look to the Cross?

Tick Tock, Tick Tock…
Did I speak of the Manger, The Cross and The Empty Tomb? The Life giving Power of your Resurrection?
Forgiveness of sins,
Surendering to Him and Eternal Life.
Have I shared the gospel, Lord?
Did I miss the mark?

Tick Tock, Tick Tock…
Is it Philosophy,
Psychology or Humanism I preach?
Good works won’t save…
Nor will Generosity.
A Repentant heart grieved in humility
I confession of faith in Christ only.

Tick Tock, Tick Tock…
Is it my Agenda I am moving in?
Or am I telling the Truth without
Compromising?
Time goes on, that Clock keeps Ticking

Tick Tock, Tick Time…
The time is short, the days are fewer,
Will I be not just a hearer, but a doer?
Lord, Change my direction,
Cause my efforts to be for your glory only.
Let me not be foolish and miss out on your purpose.

Tick Tock, Tick Tock…
Time is a wasting, what are we doing?
Are we sharing the Love of God or sharing confusion?

Tick Tock, Tick Tock…
I must remember, I am my brother’s keeper.
I am responsible for my words, my deeds and the outcomes.

Tick Tock, Tick Tock…
Lord, Let my Life so shine before them,
That they may seek you.
Forgive my shortcomings, Lord.
I want to be yours truly.
Walking day by day in tune,
Yes, In time with your Pendulum.
