The Secret I Can Share

I want to share with you a secret. You see, the Secret involves two people who simply amaze me. They have had Trials and Battles in life.
They have had the ups and downs that many face. Yet their Resolve, Their Determination is not based on Each other. It is not based on their abilities or accomplishments. Their Strength and Perseverance comes from their individual relationships with The Lord.

Collectively they have formed a marriage in Christ. They have been an inspiration to many. They have counselled many. Their lives is what worship is all about. The Lord is the Center of their Union.

So their Secret in this abundant life is that each day they each, take the time separately, to spend their moments with the Lord.

Their Alone Time With The Lord is Essential

Their Hope is in The Lord

This is a Precious Secret I share with you today. I glean from them wisdom, understanding and the joy of knowing I too am able to have this relationship with our Lord and Saviour.

They spend intimate time with God, one on one. They read, pray, study the word daily. They have developed such a unique way of respecting and honoring each other during their separate time. Then they come together and discuss the topics or passages they read separately.

They have learned to taste and to savour the presence of God.

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! Psalms 34:8

I am honored to be the eldest of their four children. We have all learned much from them. We have seen their faithfulness and have seen God move in their lives in miraculous ways. We have also seen them being faithful in the little and watched has the Lord has given them much. Our ultimate learning has come because of this. They are constant in their faith walk.

When they come together after having spent time alone with the Lord, they have much to offer. They are empowered, filled with the presence of the Lord in such a way that it has an impact on the lives they come across. This is such a valuable secret. I pray it helps you walk in the Lord faithfully too.

You and I can also glean from their example.
