I Am Secure In Him

Can I Be Taken? No I am His…
He is Mine…

John 10
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Romans 8
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I was worried, so concerned.
Thought for a moment, I am burned.
Cannot make it, I will fail.
Thought somehow I’d fallen,
Fallen too far, too low and too deep.

Then the Lord reminded me…
I have you hidden in me.
In the hollow of my hand,
You are safe and you will stand.
Ain’t no devil stronger than me…
Keep your eyes focused on me.
I am the one who drove the stone…
The stone that knocked old Goliath down.
I am He, who stood in the fire,
With the young men that did not bow.
I am He that told the wind to hush
And the sea became calm and still.
I’m the one who made the stars,
The heavens declare my love for you.
I am the one who closed the mouths
of them that would have attacked Daniel.
I am the one who made Esther’s beauty
Far beyond the other maidens.
I am the one who caused her to come into the king’s presence.
I am He who sustains all life.
I am the breath of God in you.
I am the bread of life that feeds you.
I am the living water that quenches your thirst.
I am the Redeemer
The one who paid it all for you.
No one can pluck you out of my hand.
No power can separate you from my love.
My blood was the ransom paid for you.
You are precious in my sight.

I stopped, I sighed, But Lord…
I am a failure.
I have mastered only one thing.
Falling seems to be my expertise.
I falter, I stumble, I feel helpless at times.

Then he held me closer to his heart and said,
I am able. I am sovereign.
You did not choose me.
I chose you.
You did not find me.
I came seeking you out.
You did not know me.
I chose to reveal my truth in you.
You are more than what you believe.
You are, I have called you mine.
I have made you clean.
My blood cleanses you from all sin.
My love carries you in all things.
I do not sleep nor do I slumber.
I am from everlasting to everlasting.
Yet I have deposited my treasure in you my earthen vessel.
I will never leave you nor forsake you.
I am constant and true.
I am faithful to lift you up.
I am ready to catch you.
I have known you.
Every part is not hidden from me.
I have rejoiced over you and will give you peace in the midst of life’s storms.
I will give you joy unspeakable…
I am growing you to the stature of the perfect man. I am the head.
I am the vine, you are my branches.
I am your Sabbath, rest in me.
Here, in me, you are secure.
