I See Jesús in The Whole Book
Yeshua, Yes My Redeemer
Published by Deborah Negron M.A., B.S.
Psalm 72:2, 4-6, 11-15, 17-19
May he judge Your people with righteousness, And Your afflicted with justice. May he bring justice to the poor among the people, Save the children of the needy And crush the oppressor, Let them fear You [with awe-inspired reverence and worship You with obedience] while the sun endures, And as long as the moon [reflects light], throughout all generations. May he come down like rain on the mown grass, Like showers that water the earth. Yes, all kings will bow down before him, All nations will serve him. For he will rescue the needy when he cries for help, The afflicted and abused also, and him who has no helper. He will have compassion on the poor and needy, And he will save the lives of the needy. He will redeem their life from oppression and fraud and violence, And their blood will be precious in His sight. So may he live, and may the gold of Sheba be given to him; And let them pray for him continually; Let them bless and praise him all day long. May his name endure forever; May his name continue as long as the sun; And let men bless themselves by him; Let all nations call him blessed. Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who alone does wonderful things. Blessed be His glorious name forever; And may the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen.
I opened the book in the Old Testament
And there I saw Him…
Clear as the noon day…
I saw His power in Genesis…
For John tells us in the New Testament
That He was the one who created all things…
So there in the beginning in see him…
Let us make man in our own image, was said.
Then I go through the pages to find
He, was the one Abraham brought a tithe to, Yes a sacrifice.
He was the one who delivered his people From the hand of Pharoah…
His Spirit was present in the midst of
the cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night.
Oh, I deeply understand
He was the fourth man in th fire
with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednigo.
Oh He was not yet formed as a man…
But it was Him in the flame.
Oh, I see Him in the Book of Isaiah
And He was spoken about
as the Messiah to come.
But here in this Psalm I see Him.
I see him victorious and as the Risen Lord.
I see Him being able to save.
He alone is able to save us… from the oppressor.
He alone can quench, the thirst of the soul.
He alone can feed the hunger
of man’s deep desire
To be nourished from above.
We have that deep, deep longing
only He can fill…
I see Him in all of the pages
written in His book.
Do you seek Him?
Do you seek Him?
He wants to fill your life.
You too will be joyfully and complete…
As You come to Know this Jesus…
Come Look in His book.
