Examine Me, Right Here, Right Now Lord.

Mathew 24

43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. 45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

Am I living as a person who is alert?
Am I walking with a determination?
Am I considering my steps and following the path of righteousness?
Am I seeking the Lord daily?
Is my desire to live for Him?
Is my heart enamoured with the things of this life so much so, that I have stopped longing for my heavenly home?
Search my heart Lord. Draw me to the place of renewal. Let me drink from your fountain afresh.
Cause me to be pleasing to you. Let my life matter for the Kingdom’s sake.
Let me be found not only doing but being. Yes, let me not just go through the motions of religious practices. Let me not go to church because it’s where I ought to go. Let me not behave as if, but rather let me be a true servant surrendered fully to your will and purpose for my life.
Lord if I am found lacking, restore me.
Renew the joy of the salvation you wrought for me. I claim you now, as my Lord and Savior.
I dedicate now, today, this very hour, my mind, my soul and all I am and hope to be.
Jesus, I am yours.

Let me be found ready on that day.
Ready to enter in thy rest.
