Galatians 4
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. 7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. 8 Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods. 9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
Do I walk in the light?
Do I choose to wear the old clothes that were stained with sin?
Do I go again as the swine goes into the muck and mire?
Or do I dress myself in Christ?
The I put on his Armour daily?
Am I equipped with the preparation of peace? Is my head covered with the helmet of salvation?
Do I think for a moment that taking off my armour is wise?
Oh Lord keep me from presumptuos sins.
Keep me from falling.
Keep me feet guarded lest I fall.
Let me be wise and remember from where you saved me.
I was in the pit. I was dead in sins. You revived me. You placed in me not only the breath of life but also of the Spirit.
You cause my eyes to see I was blind.
You put my feet on solid ground.
You restored to me the years the enemey had taken from me.
Lord dress me today.
I need your robe of righteousness and justification. Then the Armour (Ephesians 6).
Help me to stand today.
Other will try to tear me down.
I will stand strong and tall,
As my soul is surrendered to you.
I can’t go it alone.
But with you Lord, I can do all things.
In you I can know that my feet on the rock that is Christ Jesus. The Solid Rock the Chief Cornerstone.
Let my life be hidden in Christ. Let me abide in the hollow of you hand oh Lord.
In you I place my trust clothe me in Christ. Let me be covered under the shadow of your wings.
Securely fit in the Body… engrafted in the True Vine (John 15).
