2 Corinthians 11:20
Amen. God knows the hearts. He knows the reasons. He alone is the judge, but he is also the Redeemer and the Restorer. He knows what that person may have gone through. He has seen all of it.
2 Corinthians 5:11, 14-22
Therefore, since we know the fear of the Lord, we try to persuade people. What we are is plain to God, and I hope it is also plain to your consciences. For the love of Christ compels us, since we have reached this conclusion: If one died for all, then all died. And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for the one who died for them and was raised. From now on, then, we do not know anyone from a worldly perspective. Even if we have known Christ from a worldly perspective, yet now we no longer know him in this way. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come! Everything is from God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. That is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and he has committed the message of reconciliation to us. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us. We plead on Christ’s behalf: “Be reconciled to God.” He made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

My prayer is that the Lord would restore those who have erred. That He would heal their way. That they would be able to experience His grace and Love.
That He would mend the hearts and the that He would order their steps so they return back to Him.
When someone has strayed, they often do not know they have. They may believe that they are still walking in the way. They continue to practice the same rituals and attend the same circles and go on thinking they are living in truth.
” White doesn’t suddenly turn black, it goes through many changing shades of gray. Likewise in the Christian life we dont fall from the love of God in one day….”
These are the words of an old song…
This is true for those who slip away slowly. But if we are truly the body of Christ, if we truly belong to Him…
We are to be the children of God. We are the ones who can pray and help restore them to the fold.
Eventually, they will come to see they have strayed, if we pray for them. Speaking the truth to them in love. simply staying fervent in prayer for them.
God is able to turn a stoney heart to one that becomes sensitive to His moving.
He is able to heal what has bound them. The Lord is merciful desiring that none should perish. With an everlasting love He has loved us all. (Jeremiah 31:3)
They will see we have loved God and are truly His as we love those who have done us wrong. As we forgive and ask for forgiveness. As we embark on this faith journey of reconciliation.
Hebrews 12:14 states.
