He Has Made A Way For Us to Attain Our Peace

Lamentations 3:22- 41
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord . It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth. Let him sit alone in silence when it is laid on him; let him put his mouth in the dust— there may yet be hope; let him give his cheek to the one who strikes, and let him be filled with insults. For the Lord will not cast off forever, but, though he cause grief, he will have compassion according to the abundance of his steadfast love; for he does not afflict from his heart or grieve the children of men. To crush underfoot all the prisoners of the earth, to deny a man justice in the presence of the Most High, to subvert a man in his lawsuit, the Lord does not approve. Who has spoken and it came to pass, unless the Lord has commanded it? Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that good and bad come? Why should a living man complain, a man, about the punishment of his sins? Let us test and examine our ways, and return to the Lord ! Let us lift up our hearts and hands to God in heaven:

Many walk about wanting something for nothing. Many walk about thinking life is unfair because they have encountered hardship here and there. Some walk about considering that they have been handed a bad hand. They think the deal of their hand is a raw one.

Come on we are all guilty of thinking that we do not deserve some type of good or some type of evil we have encountered.

What if we were to consider life itself the unmerited gift. What if we were to consider each breath and each moment precious and valuable. Even the moments when we have gone through suffering can be considered as not a total loss, if we think that it led us to this moment in time.

What am I saying?
I am saying that we have thought we were somehow supposed to have better, be given more and have all we would want.

The interesting thing is, that we spend so much time complaining we don’t count the Blessings.

The oxygen in our lungs means we have been given life. The eyes that can see are able to witness God’s creation. The sensation on our skin helps us to experience cold, heat, tenderness and pain. We can experience a series of emotions and live to tell about them..the flight and flee response in every living creature is a God given instinct. How about our ability to hear? We can hear loud sounds and quiet sounds, high and low sounds. We can hear an orchestra playing and a baby crying. We can rejoice to hear someone’s laughter of children playing.
The piano, the flute, the guitar and the harp, the chello and the violin, the drums and everything.
We can hear. The words of kindness and the words of rejection all can be heard.
We see things in a negative perspective because we have thought, somehow we were supposed to have more.

Well, the truth is we are right. We were entitled to much more good. We were created to have fellowship with God. We were made to enjoy the beauty about us. The sun and the moon, the stars and the sunrise and sunset were created for our pleasure.
We were entitled to be children of God from the start.

But sin entered in to the story. Adam and Eve failed. Our forefathers thought little of the bkessings and wanted more. So, the enemy fooled them in to believing God had been holding out on them. They believed the serpent’s lie. They then were taken from the place of perfection and peace and eternal stability and put out of that Garden of Eden.

But in Genensis 3:17, Our Lord God made a promise. He promised that he would place the enemy under our feet. He would restore all things. God had already from the onset planned a way for us to come back to that state of perfection.

John 3 :16 says, that God (Father, the Son and the Hioy Spirit) made an Eternal plan to save humanity. This plan was executed when God sent His only Begotten Son, to die on the cross so that no one would perish but have eternal life.

The thing is, that there is a way for us to regain our God given right to peace and to joy and to forgiveness and mercy. There is a way to have fellowship with God and be renewed. There is a way to come out of the stupor of sin and the blinding effects of sin. There is a way to be healed, even from the trauma some of us have faced in life. There is a way to fill the void in the heart of the person who may have everything and yet lack the satisfaction of the soul.

Jesus came that we would have lofe and this life was to be abundant.
Peace, joy, contentment in what ever state we are in, is possible. Experiencing love and belonging, freedom from anxiety and fear is possible. When we come to the Authir of Life.

In this world we will experience turmoil, strife and disappointment, but we can have the wherewithal to stand and have confidence that eternity is ours. That God will give us beauty for ashes. He will mend the brokenhearted and bind up the wounds of those who come to him.

My story is no different. Lost, now found. Broken and bruised, now forgiven and renewed. Fearful and without direction, now at peace because He is in control. My days are numbered in His book. He knows the very number of hairs on my head. God is my rest and my provider. He is my Heavenly Father. He is the one rights all the wrongs.

Ecclesiasties 3 says,
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1‭-‬8 ESV

Scripture also tells us, in Ephesians 3:7-12, 15-19, Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God’s grace, which was given me by the working of his power. To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God, who created all things, so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him. from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

We have been blessed. Do you know this? Do you know the God who restores us?
Have you seen his mercy and experienced his love?

Jesus loves you. He wants to restore a fellowship with you. I pray you accept his love. Ask him to forgive your sin and make you anew.
