Where Is Your Account

Wages
Where do you have an Account?

Romans 6:23
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

How troubling and unsettling it was today. Glad to have received a blessing one day then having no access to it the next.

We work hard for our wages. We toil and put effort into perfoming our labor well. We take pride in accomplishing a job. Well done and the benefit from the rewards of the sweat up on our brow. But it happened, the company I hold my banking with had a discrepancy. The account was adequate to meet the bill yet the funds were inaccessible.

WHAT?
No how, no way… I worked for this…
I put all my efforts and skills, energy and time in to this… to now be unallowed. To reap my rewards? Many come to the Lord, thinking they can access the gains without the pains. Many come looking to do, and to have somehow met the quota!

We cannot toy with God. He deposits love in the bank of heaven. He deposits mercy. He is more than able to grant us the desires of our hearts…

Yet, there is a condition. We have to first gain access. We have to first have our names written in the Lamb’s book of life.

God is not the casino slot machine. He is not a free for all market. He has to have a technnical, intellectual, spritual and psychological relationship wth the person. He is invested in us. We must invest, believe, truat, retain, maintain and have a daily transaction of transfers with him.You see, GOD has the ability to override all things on our behalf when we have a membership in His Kingdom. We go and seek him. He offers us forgiveness, relationship, restoration, increases and benefits that are eternal.

What about my responsability to maintain my account? What about my constant depsosits of faith, seeking and prayer? What of my giving to His flock? What of my serving to benefit His memebership… The Church?

Our membership consists of the fact we are members of His body. We are his people and each part of his body has differing functions. Do I have a direct daily communication with Him?
Do I operate within the perimeters of His purpose. Do I spend time wisely? Do I consider options and possible ways to increase my dividend? That is, dividing the word of God daily?

Do I educate myself in knowing Him and His Word?

Deposits and transfers of love, mercy, grace, longsuffering and kindness. Forgivness and going the extra mile fr his cause… these are necessary to ensure we grow in Him.

I deposit also my fears, inadequacies, sorrows and doubts and gain His eace, strength, joy, and assurance.Where have you placed your account?

The gifts. He gives are eternal.
