Isaiah 66:1‭-‬2‭, ‬9‭-‬14

Thus says the Lord : “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool; what is the house that you would build for me, and what is the place of my rest? All these things my hand has made, and so all these things came to be, declares the Lord . But this is the one to whom I will look: he who is humble and contrite in spirit and trembles at my word. Shall I bring to the point of birth and not cause to bring forth?” says the Lord ; “shall I, who cause to bring forth, shut the womb?” says your God. “Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad for her, all you who love her; rejoice with her in joy, all you who mourn over her; that you may nurse and be satisfied from her consoling breast; that you may drink deeply with delight from her glorious abundance.” For thus says the Lord : “Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream; and you shall nurse, you shall be carried upon her hip, and bounced upon her knees. As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem. You shall see, and your heart shall rejoice; your bones shall flourish like the grass; and the hand of the Lord shall be known to his servants, and he shall show his indignation against his enemies.

Lift up your head…
Raise up your eyes and look…
Look to the hills…
The enemy has caused many tears.
Exhaustion came and desperation…
But your eyes have remained on the hills.

Your trust has not been on the help that come from men’s armies.
The Lord has been your refuge.
He has sustained you in the dark days.
He has not forgotten your suffeing.
It has not been in vain.
The proof of His presence is not wavering.

He is the one who has seen the depth of your hunger. The depth of the thirst that is in you.
He has seen the nights of tears.
He has kept them in his bottle.
He has not brought this far to let you go.
He has seen the process.
For He, the Lord has caused you to be tried.

It is He who has fashioned the furnace.
It has been for your purification.
It is He who has sent the chatisement.
No, not because of hate…
He has drawn you to a place where you understand now, He is your Maker.
It is His power that you have been kept.
Until now He had dealt with the waywardness of your heart… The streak of rebellion…
This He has slowly brought out to the surface.
No, not because He wanted to point out your failures. No, not to punish you.
But the wound came in order to carve out…
To remove and cast off the stain of sin.
He came as a surgeon to extract the malady.

Now, now arise. The days of weeping are over.
No, trials will still come.

But the Joy of the Lord will be your strength. It has all been to cause you to reach this place of birthing.
You will bring forth the fruit of His presence in your life. You will shine brighter than ever before. As all diamond that has been polished and every in purity discarded. It’s value is greater. He has only caused you to be in the place where as the Potter, He has fashioned you again.

Now the time of birthing is upon you. The birth of souls… the birth of lives being reborn as new creations. He has caused this day to come. Trust, it has not been for nothing. His name will be exalted in you life. It is not a fantasy. It has not been to bring you to shame. It has been to bring out the greatest oil
You see, the olive is pressed and re-pressed.
It is a long process. But the oil produced is of a sweet smell, it is of a delight to the taste. It bring healing and shines the face and the skin.
Oh, don’t you see. Don’t abort the process.

Wait, Be still and know that I am God, says the Lord. Even what appeared to be wasted time, He will redeem. He is the one who gives beauty for ashes. Press on. Hold on. Victory is about to come forth.

He is the rewarder of them that diligently seek Him!
