Walk in the Light…
Those that walk in darkness will surely be cast off. But those that persevere will be rewarded.

Ephesians 5
1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. 3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them. 8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. 13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. 14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. 15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

She sat there feeling overwhelmed. She felt unappreciated by her spouse. He had been quite unresponsive and seemingly cold.
Then that guy showed up. He said all the right words. He seemed to be genuinely interested. He seemed to be concerned and interested in every word she spoke. Satan, the subtle voice in that stranger…

There was the young man. He seemed overwhelmed by so much. Too many changes. He had no coping skills. He seemed to be alone. He thought things were confusing and he poorly began to rely on the wrong types of friends. Ignoring reality and keeping appearances. Ommission is sin. Satan is the father of lies. Whether we lie to ourselves or to others…. sin is present.

There the young teen was. She had been aggravated by her parent’s decision. Every one was going to the party. Her parents said, No. She was going to be the odd ball out, again. Refusing to be ousted she goes, she sneaks out…..
There is a way that seemeth right…
But the end thereof is death.

He just wanted to borrow the car for one evening. He did not know he was going to lose control. He would drink and eventually cause the crash. Foolishness follows the youth scripture tellls us.

It surprized us, he died. It was unexpected. We were totally caught off guard. We were blindsided. Yes tragedy came. We were devastated. But our live’s in God should remain. He is our great comforter. When Satan tries to come in and accuse us, or make depression be our final destination, we need to run to Jesus. He will sustain us. He will cause us to be filled with peace in the midst of our pain.

We look at life and close mindedly, make decisions
that can alter the course of our lives. We believe we are in the right and choose to listen to voices that are contrary to God’s will. The voice of a stranger, Satan in the Garden …

We slowly backslide… slowly allowing our mindset to be different from what we know is right and true. We slowly have come to believe in what we now have chosen. We discard truth for a lie. The bible says the heart of man is desperately wicked.
Our feelings and emotions are fickle.

Wake up! Yes, in this world we will have struggles. Yes, in this world we will be let down. We will be mistreated and belittled.
In thise worrld we will feel used and also rejected. But when we look to our God he can help us through life’s turmoil and give us the wherewithal to make it. We cannot allow the enemy of our souls win. We must stand for our families. We must stand for our spouses, for our children, for our loved ones and for ourselves. We must not give Satan any more ground. Let’s remember our vows. The vows we made to ur God. Let us not tpoy with sin. Let us not succomb to pain and waiver in our faith. What we sow we will surley reap.

Everything worth having is worth fighting for. Stand and Call on God! Say to him, Lord, help me!
He will come to your rescue. He will restore all things.
