Isaiah 49
3 And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified. 4 Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the Lord, and my work with my God. 5 And now, saith the Lord that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the Lord, and my God shall be my strength.
He never forgets
He never slumbers.
He never misunderstands nor does He falter.
He has Acquited me.
He has Redeemed me.
He has Restored me and remade me.
The accusers came and presented lies.
Their argument was fierce and violent.
They spoke terrible things yet My God will be my defender.
I will not admit to any wrong, for I am guiltless.
My sin is Covered. Christ has forgiven me.
Who is mere flesh to point a finger.
The Blood of the Lamb has purchased my life.
Who is it that can stand before mighty God.
I will be still. I will not even attempt to vindicate myself.
The Lord will see to it.
He will give to those embassadors of Satan their just reward.
He will be the one to plead my case.
He will be my defender.
I am not alone.
Not only is Christ my Lord, but I know all things will work together for my good. He is my Reward.
He is my portion.
I will wait upon the Lord.
I will wait upon the Lord.
For He is Faithful.
