I choose to walk in Liberty, Victory is mine!

Psalm 57

Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast. 2 I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.

7 My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise. 8 Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. 9 I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations. 10 For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds. 11 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth.

I choose this day, to look at the Maker.
I choose to see with the eyes of faith. I am determined to trust the Lord and not focus on my circumstance. I am convinced and believe that He who began a good work in me is faithful and He will complete it.
Each stage of life brings with it new lessons and new challenges. I will decidedly choose to trust in your word.
My flesh sees and hears calamity. My vision may become clouded with the tragedy I witness. Therefore, I must choose, yes, decide, to stand on the Word of Truth. Regardless of the issues of this life, I know in whom I have believed in. He neither slumbers not sleeps. He does not become ill nor does he forget.
He has promised that he will give me the desires of my heart.

The list,

The salvation of my children.
The provision for my home.
The healing for the illness.
The strength I have now known,
In light of all my weakness, I am however, strong.
The joy that is unspeakable,
that cannot be described.
In spite of all life struggles, his peace is mine, Yes, mine.
The church filled with his glory.
Salvation for the lost.
His Spirit to console me and others in life’s pain
To know the hope of heaven.
To have the clear fixed path.
To walk with Him daily and rest
In His sure loving arms.
To one day sing the song
Sweet song of mercy,
Sweet redemption that is mine.

My prayer is this for now,
while I’m on this earthly plain.
For on that morning when, he calls us home
I’ll sing and shout for gain.
The riches of eternity I am assured in Him
Who gave himself on Calvary
and washed away my sin.

Oh sing of joy and victory!
Come one and all to see…
The King of kings and Lord of lords
Has given all, for me.
Oh praise the God of heaven.
The Father, Son and Ghost…
the three, the Holy One of glory.
He’s paid high price for me.
Redemption is my story
in Christ, my liberty.

Interesting just before I saw this posted this morning in my email I was thinking, Why am I up so early. Then as I started my Bible study for the day I was filled with joy and happiness. Remembering when I would make the excuses that I didn’t have time to read the scriptures everydat, let alone study them.
It was because back then I was just doing my checklist. Doing what my spiritual leaders told me I needed to do. There was no passion in it.
You see, I wasn’t working on my personal relationship with Jesus Christ. That wasn’t on my radar, I just figured that if I read once in while and prayed once in a while, Jesus would have to bless me.
Wow, really, like Jesus owed me something? I so grateful now (maybe because I’m getting older) that I desired to be feed, so I can be closer to Jesus. When I even miss a day, I feel so tired and weak in the world.
So, this really hit home for me today.
